Travelling is always joyful with your loved ones. It hardly matters whether it is domestic or international trip. What matters most is the people you are accompanied with. Right??
Time was when home, work, family, kids, savings were the priority, people were not apt to travelling but now the things have changed. People like to travel, explore, experience and experiment with the things and places, if there is a long weekend for 3-4 days also people pack their bags and and go for outing to avoid the stereotype routine official or household work just to chillax and forget all the worries and enjoy life to the fullest.
Me and my hubby are one of those couple who just need an excuse to escape from home and go on staycation to beautiful places all around the world.
But for 2 and a half years we both were on a break for maternal and paternal responsibilities and after such a long break we were craving for a vacation which will be bracing and relaxing for us and congenial for our twin kids. And the conversation between two of us was like:
Me: Its long time we have not gone anywhere. Just need a break.
Ravi:I can understand baby but we have kids and that too twins, along with them its quite difficult to go for a outing.
Me: I know but we can plan a comfy stay with less exertion.
Ravi:Ok let me think..we will plan soon.
After some days Ravi came to me with a plan of going to Ashoka Moh farms suggested by one of his friends. I have never heard about this place and thought to go through internet research before finalising it and found it interesting and told him to finalise it.
The farm with 8 limited rooms were simple, neat and clean with all amenities. Adventorous activities like Rock climbing, Air rifle shooting, Rappeling, archery, burma bridge, swing fly-over, dark tunnel, hanging bridge , side-cross, ramp climbing, ladder climb, military obstacle, etc were there to entertain and engage the people visiting there with audacious and spunky activities. Though we could not do all the activities but still partcipated and enjoyed some of them especially at that time I was remembering my old good days when I was more active and more fit😉 to do all the activities at par.

The swimming pool was amazing and with dj songs and rain dance it was really a rejuvenating time for all of us to swim, play, dance and relax in the chaises.

The food was delicious and the staff were very kind and co-opeartive to meet the food requirements of our kids. The play garden for kids was enough to keep the kidos busy in their arena.
The full day enjoyment with activities, swimming,rain dance, good food , roaming around the farm and feeling the peace in the lap of trees and greenery, at night bon-fire organised in a shed as it was raining heavily outside was tranquiling as the cold wind was blowing with the rain and we were enjoying the heat and warmth from the bonfire in the dark night with silence all over. Its been truly said that sometimes somethings cannot be explained in words. It has to be experienced and the night at Ashoka Moh farms was one of that night.
The cost was Rs.1400 per room including food and the pool charges were Rs.250 per person. Ashoka Moh farms is a perfect get away from the hustle of city life to enjoy the holidays with love and admiration, peace and calmness, thrill and elation. The gateway for couples, family, friends, corporates in nature's fresh air and if you wish to visit and explore near by places then Shirdi is around 73kms i.e 1hr 35 mins and Nashik is around 18.5 kms i.e 35 mins, Trimbakeshwar is around 47.5 kms i.e 1 hr 15mins. So keeping behind all the stress and tension enjoy your weekend with love and care, smile and happiness. At the end this is only which matters most.

Pro tips: Carry swimming costume along with you to enjoy the pool. Carry Odomos or Mosquito repellant cream as it is surrounded by greenery, there are too many insects and mosquitoes.
