Varanasi/Kaashi or now more importantly current constituency of our Indian Prime Minister. How to describe a visit to a city that celebrate the most hidden but truth part of our lives---Death

Situated in Uttar Pardesh, this city brings you as close as you want to the Indian culture. The land of Shiva, the land of history, the land of culture, land of stories

A perfect destination from your usual breaks of hills or beaches this city has neither of them still you won't miss either of them

Well if you want your mind to have that kick of philosophy, if you want to experience what India stand for in its most unadulterated form, if you want to experience something unique about India, If you want to have that perfect photo tour, if you want to taste some mouth watering food, if you want to enjoy the typical extreme climates of India

You will experience the life as it exist in streets of India. Varanasi is full of narrow lanes where sometime you might want to get lost. Its a place where the life exist as it. Having a tea on a roadside vendor who themselves have a history of more than 100 years with generation running the shop. Mahadev is the common word of greeting in this city. Ghats are the most colorful aspect of this city

Every ghat signifies some story and then there is a ghat where dead bodies are burnt, there is a continuous fire on this ghat for all 24 hours with lot many bodies waiting to be cremated. It is believed that dyeing in this city will help you attain salvation and hence very unique to this city you will find hostels, where old people stay waiting for their death

A morning ride on river Ganga which is worshiped as god and watching a sunset from the boat is a site you will remember for ever

Another beautiful site on the bank of river is the evening ceremony when lamps are lit to give the last tribute of the day to holy river to thank it for all that it brings to city and surrounding. This is one site where the whole atmosphere, vibrations around you change and you experience an eternal peace

Food is another part, when you experience a mouth watering vegetarian stuff full of butter and simple Indian breads. This cannot end without having thandai, a famous sweet drink also considered auspicious drink for lord Shiva

A must visit to this place to experience the hustle, bustle, culture, color and randomness so unique to India

A truly inspiring place, There is a story filled with emotions behind everything. peaceful place on the ghats.
