We are back again! Last week visited the most awaiting place called LEPAKSHI Temple we started from Bangalore @ 2PM we reached exactly sunset time it will take Minimum 3 hours after taking breaks.
The temple was built in 1530 Virupanna Nayaka and Viranna.
Once you are there you can find beautiful Nandi (bull) here most interesting thing is this bull with single body carved on the pillar of main entrance pillar.
We started taking Dharshan@5:30 we reached late there since main temple will close@6 after Dharshan we started looking at temple here more interesting think Is temple built so many pillars each pillar explains different culture and meanings.More interesting think is we find The Hanging pillar here still we don’t no how it’s hanging.
After main temple was covered and we started looking at Back side where we can find the amazing Shivling with multiple faces of snake with Linga most unique shivaling so far in the country and we find the Ganapathi Murthy also after crossing this shivaling you can find incomplete Kalyan Mandapa.
