A WHITE CHRISTMAS AT VILLA SOLITUDE
Bad Gastein is an Austrian spa and ski town in the High Tauern mountains south of Salzburg. It’s known for the belle epoque hotels and villas built on its steep, forested slopes.
One of the finest B&B's we could have ever imagined to stay at is Villa Solitude , which houses the famous Lutter & Wegner restaurant.
This charming Boutique Hotel is located in the town of Bad Gastein , and offers the best views of the entire town along with the waterfall that flows through the centre of this town.
We were here for Christmas Eve and the Lutter & Wegner hosted us with the best Christmas Dinner , although a little steeply priced , but their fixed menu was one of the best meals we've had in our lives.
We witnessed "A White Christmas" the next morning as soon as we opened our windows , to see the entire town covered in the pouring snow , felt like a Magical Christmas, as it should be.
The Villa Solitude has a heritage vibe to it , making you feel like you've entered a different Era all together.
