Friendship day.
A day when we make plans and meet our friends to celebrate our friendship.
Ever tried meeting new friends on this day in an event.
So it was a page on Instagram where I saw the advertisement of this trip by a page, and I revert immediately.
This year's friendships day i.e. 4th August, 2019 we people went on a waterfall trek with strangers at Shelpem Virgin Waterfall Trek which is in Goa near Valpoi.
It was a half day trek, like we all were accumulated at a point from where our buses were about to leave. So, we left from Panaji, Goa. And the other people from their convenient stops as we were 70 to 80 people in total.
It took us around 2 hours to reach the location where we had to start our trek. So, we booked our seats and all the expenses were taken care within the same booking amount, like they provided us with pickup and drop from a point near to our convenience. And then they provided us with breakfast and lunch as well.
So, we reached the location around 11:00 in the morning. Where we all accumulated and had a discussion before entering the jungle.
So as we started, the vibe we had was very good to start with.
While moving into the narrow roads and dodging all the branches and shrubs, helping each other to cross the mud roads, giving a hand to another to help them cross the stream, laughing on the one slipping and falling in the mud as it was raining all the time, like following everyone we made friends on our way.
So like this in the jungle we explored five waterfalls which were all of a different kind and undiscovered, which is why this trek was named as VIRGIN WATERFALL TREK.
While trekking we had to carry our bag and our lunch as well, so that we could have our lunch wherever we'll take rest. So the trek was like we were walking, climbing, slipping, crossing the narrow streams till we reached the first waterfall. We all were amazed to see the this hidden beauty inside te jungle, like we never expected the world inside here is so beautiful. We kept our bags under a tree and went into the waterfall. We all enjoyed there for like half an hour and left for another one. Like this the same way we explored all the five waterfalls within the jungle. And in the evening around 5 we came out of the jungle all tired and exhausted waiting for the bus to go home.
A new type of friendship day was this trip.
