Sunset at Kovalam

Day-1:Started journey on early morning with taxi to Airport and reached Cohin at 9AM by catching early morning flight from Air India. After check-in to Hotel and refreshing for an hour, we were out into city for siteseeing. We had taken a tour package to see the God's Own country called Kerala. After spending day to see Cemetry,Church,Chinese fisnet,Marine museum and in last, enjoying the coconum water at Cochin beach, we camem at Marine drive and enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the night life of the area.

Day-2: After having breakfast, we started journey to Munnar which is around 80 KM. On the way, we saw pineapple and banana plantation. Cheeyappara and Valara and the Karadippara view point weer amazing and refreshing. Later on, we went to Dreamland spice garden which was comprising a lots of adventures activities with an entry fee of 600/-. After evening, we checked into our resort NEST at Munnar. We had our dinner at resort which was good in taste and price. (For lunch,we stopped at Adimali but didn't have satisfying lunch)

Day-3: After watching the beautiful sunrise from our resort,we left for our day siteseeing.Firstly, we reserve our timeslot for Ervikulam National park to avoid wasting time in queue.We got evening timeslot. Then we first went for Elephant ride (350/- per person and additional if you hire photographer) for half an hour.Then we proceed for Mattupetty Dam which offers many fascinating sights to relish, the Shola forests around Mattupetty area.We also enjoyed speed boat (Charges : 500/- for 15 min with max 5 people). We also saw photo point which was havoing great view of Tea Garden. Later, we visited Tea Museum which also has an enrty fee of 83/- per person and additional for camera. Later on, we visited for Ervikulam National Park where we saw Lion Goat (as it is called by this name). Here we have to purchase addional enrty fee ticket apart from bus ticket in addional to what we had spend for reservation slot. On +ve note was that no time was wasted to have entry ticket. After that, we visited Hydel Park which also has an entry fee.There we enjoyed rides apart from seeing some beautiful flowers.

Day-4: Proceed to Thekkady after breakfast; Enjoy the drive trough the tea mountains and the picturesque green carpet of the nature. Check in to the hotel; Visit the Periyar Wild life Sanctuary, where one can go for a Wildlife cruise to view a large variety of wild animal like Wild Elephants, Nilgiri Langur,Sambar Deer, Wild Bison, Wild Boar etc; And quite a lot of unique birds can also be spotted. After that, we took Jeep safari and saw some great plantation of Tamarind,Date,Grapes and many more. We had our dinner near Bus stand of Kumily where one can find many restaurant both veg and non-veg.

Day-5:Proceed to Alleppey after the breakfast; Board to the houseboat and begin the enchanting backwater cruise. A cruise in a "Kettuvallam" (Houseboat) through the enchanting backwaters is sure to rob your heart. Enjoy the lunch, tea snacks and dinner on board. Overnight stay in the Houseboat.

Day-6: After breakfast proceed to Kovalam.On the way you can watch the paddy fields and back water beauty.Check in to the hotel on arrival and relax. Then we proceeded for back water trip in a speed boat (which charged 2500/-). There we saw golden sand beach, statury,floating restaurant and floating house,winf mango and many more.Later visited the Kovalam beach to enjoy sunset in evening.

Day-7: After checking out from hotel, we went to Padamnathan Swami temple.As people with perticular dress can enter into it, we have to purchase the dress. Long queue is tehre to see the lord Vishnu. Later, we ended out trip at Airport.
