Day 1

Hello everyone as I am in Banglore for few days I asked about some places to visit here. One place which almost everyone told to visit was Nandi Hills .
So we thought of visiting it at the first opportunity.
Nandi hills is approximately 60 km from banglore .
We rented a self driven car and started early morning around 5.00 am . It is advisable to start early as sunrise is worth watching .
Drive was smooth and as we approached hilly area we could see the clouds and the fog .
The moment was worth capturing in camera for  memories.
We went on Sunday so it was obvious to get crowd there as after Covid now people are preferring to  go natural places but unexpectedly getting more crowd there ..
P.S - Try to plan in a weekday to get less crowd . Timing for entry is 6.00 am -6.00 pm .
Post Covid few restaurants and cafe are opened .Better to get own brekfast.

Nandi Hills  is an ancient hill fortress built by Ganga Dynasty and later enlarged and strengthened by Tipu Sultan in southern India, in the Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka state. ... The first ever SAARC summit hosted by India was held at Nandi Hills in 1986.(source wikipedia)

As we reached on top of the hill we parked our car and started exploring .There are around 1000 steps from base of hill but if you want you can drive till uphill and then roam and enjoy the beautiful scenery .
Clouds were playing hide and seek and weather is really good .
P.S - If travelling with kids keep Jacket and caps   as little cold for them .
After spending around 2 hours we started coming down and had our breakfast at Turtle Town resturant . Food was good, hygienic and coffee was best .
After breakfast we went to Nandi village .
There we went to Bhog Nandeeshwar Temple ,Chikkaballapur .Must visit place when you plan for Nandi hills .
It is a cultural heritage property .
Beautiful place and Shiva temple .Then we head back towards city .
On the way back we saw flower farm and we were lucky to get inside it .
Splendid smell of fresh roses and Chrysanthemum .
P.s - Try your luck .
At the end our trip was short and sweet . Stay safe and keep exploring !!!!!
