DAY-3
We booked a cab for 2 days and 1 night for our North Sikkim visit.The 2 days include visit to Lachung , Yumthankg valley of flowers and Zero Point.
We began our journey from our hotel in Gangtok.The cab driver charged us Rs.10500 for the 3 places.For visiting North Sikkim the travellers need a permit.The cab driver help us to arrange the permit.He asked us 2 passport sized photographs and our identity proof.
The journey starts at 10.00 am in the morning.The route to Lachung was very beutiful and it was full of mountains and trees.I enjoyed the journey a lot with my friends.On the way their were many waterfalls and beautiful sight seeing points like Amitabh Bachhan waterfalls.
It was around 6.00 am when we reached Lachung.It was a small village.We booked a hotel their.We ate the food and then start bonefire.
Next day we starts our journey at 6.30 am and headed to Yumthang valley.We were expecting lot of snow their but snow was not their.Later we moved to Zero point .At zero point the lake nearby was completely frozen and we walked on the surface of frozen lake.We clicked lot of pics their.Finally we enjoyed maggiee with tea.On the way back,we had jalebis and samosha at Army canteen and it was very delicious.
Finally we reached Gangtok around 8.00 am.
