Udaipur - The city of Palaces
I started from Ahmedabad in morning driving my way to Udaipur. I set my foot at Ramada Udaipur at about 7 in the night. After checking in, the first thing I couldn't miss the night lights of the place so I strolled on the roads.  It's a small tangible city which closes for the night by 10. I could still catch the glimpse of the city palace lighted up at night and the wonderful temple around hundreds of steps above right into the market place. All shining like stars in the night sky. With a good night sleep I woke early next morning and drove to the Fatehsagar Lake, had an enchanting morning boating experience. Later in the afternoon I visited saheliyo ki baari, Saheliyon Ki Bari is one of the most beautiful gardens and a major tourist destination in Udaipur. The garden is famous for its lush green lawns, marble art and fountains. Also called "Garden of maids". This renowned garden is located on the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake, presenting a green retreat in the dry lands of Rajasthan. Garden of maids was built from 1710 to 1734 by Maharana Sangram Singh for the royal ladies. The twilight was at lake Pichhola. Early next morning I set foot at city palace Udaipur. It was built over a period of nearly 400 years being contributed by several kings of the dynasty. There is an overlook from this palace to the taj palace set right at middle of the lake. And so ended the 2 day saga of Udaipur trip.
Oh wait, also so that you should know, this place Udaipur was once called romantic spot of the Indian continent. This might give you another thought to better check this place now rather keep reading about it *wink
