The Yamuna Expressway

So this Saturday, the 13th, I was ready to go to Mathura (a long pending destination) for a quick visit to Bankeybihari temple. And when I told my parents about it on Friday, my mom and brother got ready too. So I had the company now!

We started from Delhi at 4:30 AM and following the old Delhi-Agra highway (which is  now under construction and I didn't know :)), we managed to reach Vrindavan by 7:30 or so. Its very unique that "Radhe-Radhe" is spoken by everybody there instead of "excuse me" or "side please" or any other acronym which can be used to catch others' attention. Well, so by 8:30 we had Bankey Bihari's Darshan and were out of the temple by 8:45. Then we decided to o to the ISKON and then to Prem Mandir. Prem Mandit is the latest addition to this place (inaugurated on 17th Feb 2013 I guess). But its beautifully designed and planned place. Right from the Entrance to the Exit, they have shown many phases of Krishna's life. And now at around 10 AM, we were ready to move on from this place.

Since were running ahead of the planned schedule, I decided to head towards Agra...barely an hour journey!!

Now it took us 2 hrs to reach The Taj...so much traffic in Agra city and that we were stand-still for nearly 30 min on road. And then the parking took another 1 hr. All the time that we saved in Vrindavan...utilized here! :D

So finally the car parked in East Gate, Ticket bought and lunch done, the most beautiful experience began...The Taj!!!

PS: somehow all my photos are getting inverted when I am uploading them, hence only a few are here.
