Day 1

Finally , a great start to new year as this trip was planned few days before that I will be celebrating this new year at the Mountains. And what better place I could get than Dharamshala and Mcleodganj.
Landed via bus to Mcleodganj at 7:00 am at Mcleodganj.
Walked all the way to the hotel where the view was just getting better and better.
The hotel was a very nice and comfortable stay with a balcony view and almost all the food joints nearby.

After taking rest for few hours , I started my travelling - exploring food joints, visiting the places I have just seen on the blogs of other people like the bhagsu temple.

The foremost thing I loved here was the food , the cafes been designed and architecture was just stupendous.

After walking all my way down to the roads and hills and steep roads of Mcleodganj , finally came back to hotel by 7:00 pm evening when almost everything at the Mall road and at downside roads were closed and the lights were not there , so it was getting a little dark for reaching my way out back to hotel.

Reached back , having a glass of rum with a nice view sitting in the balcony - that is how I completed Day 1 of my journey.

Day 2

Day 2 started with a bang.
A weed session to begin with - yeah ! You heard it right - weed to begin my day with.
With the mind and body being relaxed and calm, I decided why not to hire a bike ?
So I went down to the reception, took the number of the person and hired a Royal Enfield classic 500 cc Black matte "beast" for just 500₹ per day (plus the petrol excluded).
With my Royal Enfield by my side, I started my excavation to the roads again.
Riding a Royal Enfield on the steep mountain roads is just one boy dream which was fulfilled after 23 long years.
With the Royal Enfield, I travelled all the way down to Dharamshala to the stadium where the stadium gave me some exceptional views - heart warming sky.
A match was going on between some clubs I believe , had 30 odd minutes out of my schedule to watch 1st match of my life "Live".
Outside the stadium, there were food joints with the mountain special food "thupka" and along with some delicacies to your mouth.
After the stadium, I went to this martyr's park where there were some attractions enlightened to the indian army and the soldiers who gave their lives for the betterment of us.
After a long successful day, while I was on my way out I looked on my Zomato for some nice hot coffee and on my way out,
I found this beautiful cafe named "Illiterati" , breached on the side of the road with some exceptional taste to the food and yeah ! Ofcourse - a beautiful collection of books along with words ❤️.

Finally around 7:40 pm, reached back to the hotel.
Boosted myself with weed and a glass of rum to help myself out of the long and tiring day because the 3rd day was going back to the same old miserable life.

Day 3

Day 3 - "Coming back to home"

I never wanted to leave this place as I felt this place was inside me , I can feel that till now in my body - the peace of mind and soul in the sound of the mountains and the birds chirping , such a peaceful joy.

Overall , a great amazing short trip for 2 days all by myself wouldn't have ended with trying the famous chicken chop box of Jimmy's Tibetan cuisine.
It was such a delight to my taste buds to try such thing which I haven't even tasted or heard of in Delhi.

If I get a chance, I would definitely pick this place for my first pick.
