It was an unexpected journey. Unexpected in all sense.. not even previous day plans.. no packups.. no bookings.. nothing to tell that we well prepared for the journey.
But always all those unexpected journeys brought the best experiences according to me.
It was a monsoon morning: we woke a bit early; it was he who came with an idea of a long drive... then came all those quick decisions..fixed WAYANAD.. the easy to hitch land of hills,spices and resorts.
Booked a hotel...(let it be a surprise), packed few dress and headed with our cam; as it was so quick planning; it was a surprise to the entire family.
We had our breakfast from a thattukada after climbing up the whole hair pin bends.. it was really amazing as the monsoon brought a stunning beauty to the mountain views.
And we reached our tree house resort.... Wohh!!! No words.. as it was for the first time in a-tree house and more than that being with your love in the true nature..listening to the chirping of birds..the jumps of monkeys..the cool breeze.. the drizzling rain drops..what else you need for a perfect romance?!
THE PEPPER TRAIL resort has everything required for a perfect romantic vacation. The tea plantation; a beautiful kayaking lake; an off road drive;a lovely breakfast menu, mini hiking.. It was worthy of money.
We headed into the in and depths of wayanad; all those tourists marked spots which you could easily access by google maps.. so not mentioning in depths. But one advice don’t forget to stop in between the spotted sites.. because they can give you the best ever memories you can..
As we had several other programs the day after we have to pack up bit soon the next day.And yes it was the most memorable trip to wayanad. I had went there before and even after but nothing made that addiction in me.
May be everything should keep up some surprises than the plans and that adds the everlasting beauty and memory!
