When I told everyone I will be traveling to Ooty this weekend, I did not receive a good response.. Almost every person told me the place is overrated and not worth a visit..then I did a little research and got to know that this hill station is a victim of commercialization.:(.. BUT the plan was ON!! So we revised our itinerary and now instead of checking out crowded touristic points, we decided to explore the local market, old famous cafes, bakeries and boutique hotels. Also, I was traveling with my best friend so I had the best company and you know what? We end up having a trip filled with amazing memories..we were staying at this beautiful hostel, located right in the middle of Nilgiri mountains, where mornings were the best part of the day - breathtaking views, tea, and hours of soulful conversations..Now whenever I think of Ooty it brings a smile on my face and it makes me miss those mornings.. So the point here is that travel is not always about exploring, it actually is about experiencing the MOMENT, enjoying it and Capturing it for a lifetime.
