We as a group of 5 people reached Kodaikanal through bus from Bangalore on morning 8am.
When we reached Kodaikanal we came to know that one can explore kodaikanal only through local taxi and buses and there is no option of renting motorbike in city.
I came into contact with the local tour operator who arranged a bus facility for a day to explore with a charge of ₹300 per day.
We freshened up in zostel and departed to explore kodaikanal.
At first we reached Moir point and through the forest all the day we visited a lots of view points which were beautiful to watch.
As we entered forest the temperature became cold and view outside was stunning.
We visited view points like Moir point, silent vally view, berijam lake view point and at last we reached berijam lake which is a beautiful lake surrounded by pine forests.
After hanging out till evening we came back to zostel and took a rest in the hostel.
Next day we booked a cab which were costing 400 per head for a whole day of travel.we got up early morning and at 6am we departed towards dolphins nose. Morning sunrise view was very beautiful to watch. After trekking for nearly 2 kms along side of big chunk of rocks and pine forest we reached dolphins nose.
Dolphins nose is a dangerous as well as stunningly beautiful view point. The entire valley can be seen through dolphins nose. we followed trail and reached echo rock which was surrounded by rock. We made funny sounds which echoed through the rock.
After taking couple of snaps and chilling we came back and we departed to vattanakal water falls which was on the way. There was not much water in the falls as it was off season still there was plenty of water to enjoy the view of waterfall.
After that we took a a detour to pine forest,Guna caves and pillars rock view point.
Then we returned back to city and explored city and visited places like coakers walk,lake view point and at evening we headed towards city lake.
We took cycle for half an hour for rent and went for a ride through a side of lake.
Later we went for a boat riding at Lake for 20 minutes and enjoyed the view.
As it became night we cherished all the moments we enjoyed in two days with friends and departed back to Banglore.
