Surrounded by natural beauty lying in the middle of nature is Lansdowne. In the district of Pauri garhwal, Uttarakhand, this hidden beauty is situated. You will find a lot of beautiful places to wander around here. Such places include Tip n Top, Church, Lord Shiva temple called as Old kaleshwar Temple. The most interesting part of the place which I got to know from locals over there was about Tarkeshwar Mahadev Mandir. This ancient temple contains sandalwood trees and is believed by the locals that after evening snakes are found wrapped around those trees. This temple is somewhere around 20km away from the main city Lansdowne.
One must visit this place to sleep in the lap of nature along with enjoying ancient Indian history of Lord Shiva. So why to waste our time let's plan a trip to lansdowne. Sharing some beautiful pictures from our trip.Enjoy :) :)
