Travel - Better to see it once than hear about it thousand times.
Always ,always i wanted to travel but then my excuses towards life was more than miles i would travel.It doesn't mean i never travelled but it was with friends to " Mandatory ,saal mein do baar GOA toh jana hai " and other places like Ooty ,Mysore and Bangalore .
After reading and seing many articles in Tripoto,Insta ,Facebook helped and realized me we can manage to travel without quiting our job in a "Budget". So planned a one day bike ride to nearest places which i can.
So Sunday morning i was suppose start at 10 am to this place called " Gejjagiri Temple " situated in Padumale,Puttur taluk ,Dakshina Kannada. So i started around 11 am from my place it was around 65 kms one way. So with the help Google maps i started my trip .
The journey started from NH 66 highway( nearest to my house ) which after covering 5.7 kms takes a detour which takes you through Miyapadav- Perla - Perla Kerala Karnatak Border- Padumle (Puttur D.K).
Initially it was the usual roads and people which you observe in day to day life but when i moved further roads started to take curves , lush green forest scapes begin to give its glimpse. And when you ride in your bike with this views all the bollywood songs comes into your mind and you become a singer. Slowly gradually temperature started dipping as i moved on and view through the curves gazed me with breathtaking views. And after riding for 1 hour and 40 minutes i reached my destination . And while coming i took one more route which added more to my this very first travel.
Travelling made me realize that there are far bigger things than my problems. Travelling allows you to see that the world is not always about you its about the different culture,people and the roads taken.
