The wonderful place is just 250km away from Bengaluru, taking the shortest route via NH75. Being the birthplace of coffee in India, it gives immense pleasure to the eyes because of the greenery all over the place. It is a hill station  which is benefited with several trails for all the trekkers where Mullyanagiri peak and Baba budan giri are the two best points you can choose from. The best time to visit Chikmagalur is from Sept – Feb giving a delightful experience. If you are an adventure lover and ready to take risks, get your off-road bikes ready for the period between July – Sept as the place receives a heavy rainfall. No doubt, the rain adds beauty to the hill station, but risky at the same time. Overall the place is stunning and has lots of activities to do which makes it perfect for all the wanderers.
