Sadu Chiru waterfall

Sadu Chiru Waterfall is without a doubt the most standard waterfall in Manipur. slopes and mountains. Not at all like Meghalaya and Sikkim, where there are heaps of waterfalls, Manipur has just couple of waterfalls. I accept there must be some other unexplored waterfalls in Manipur.

If you are traveling to Imphal, Manipur and get a chance to see some must visit places, Kangla Fort should be top of your list. So basically it a beautiful palace with great history attached to it. It's a huge place and impossible to see the whole place by walking. They have a guided golf cart/boogey facility (Hire Cycle also) and I would recommend that as you will come to know about the history of the place through the guide. Entry also has fees but very nominal (Rs. 10/person). It has got amazing history about Imphal and the place is very nice. It also has a museum inside.

One of Asia’s most wonderful market, Ima Keithel. Tourist information focusses on the women's market, but there's much more than that. We found fresh fish and fruits zone particularly interesting because of the variety on offer. We hadn't realised fish was such an important part of the Manipur diet. There were also fruit, vegetables, chickens and ducks for sale, though surprisingly little other meat. The women 's market has a lot of clothes, fabrics and handicrafts.

One of the best lakes that I have ever seen or visited. It also has many floating homestay where you can stay over night or drop for a meal. Boat facility is available and run by locals. People are nice around and helpful. Overall it's excellent and I would surely recommend others to visit the place. Boating and other water sports are organised here at Takmu Water Sports Complex.
