Olive Bar & Kitchen - Qutub Minar

Its that time of the year when one can enjoy the weather outdoors and soak oneself in the winter sun sipping some grey-goose Martini's. With an ambiance, location and setting like Olive, and to top it all - a talented Chef like Chef Sujan, you ought to get it right every time. I have lost count of the number of memorable evenings I have had at the Olive Bar & kitchen over the last few years, and yet the place never fails to impress me every time I dine here. And every visit just makes me fall in love more and more with the place, and that itch in me to come back starts even before I have left. So this Valentines you ought to sit in the sun in the Al-fresco seating with your lady love and sip wine while looking deep into her eyes while enjoying great food. Amreli, Hotel Diplomat, Malcha Marg

Amreli, at the Hotel Diplomat is a new addition to the niche classy yet comfy fine dine restaurants in the capital city of New Delhi. Even though Amreli had big shoes to fill, considering that it replaced the legendary Olive beach, Amreli by far is doing full justice to the mark that the Predecessor has left on the palates of Delhiites. The place has become one of my favourite spots in the city offering great, flavorful food and a very cozy setting. This place is just plain amazing! It's the perfect spot for soaking in the winter Sun, or spending a romantic evening with your loved one over a glass of champagne. Amreli is perfect for all seasons, all occasions and all the reasons, especially Valentines Day. So make your reservation today.

Cafe Diggin - Siri Fort Road

This quaint and cozy European restaurant with its historic old-world charm and décor is the real deal! The cafe is quaint and picturesque. The walls of the cafe are adorned with beautiful paintings and artifacts of mainland Europe and large French styled large glass Windows throughout the café's decor, giving it a charmingly Romantic old-World feel. This little known restaurant is increasingly getting popular and is tucked away in front of Kamla Nehru College and one can not only enjoy a very intimate and Romantic evening with a loved one. The cafe has seating both indoor/outdoor. The Al-Fresco seating on the ground floor and the Ist floor is beautiful surrounded by greens, flower pots and lovely flowers, I felt as though it was spring. Everything around is fantastically beautiful and an ideal place to spend your valentines. Just one technical glitch - they do not have a bar license, but the food is great.

Uzuri Deck and Dining - GK-2

Uzuri has created enough buzz around and with celebrity Chef Guy Clarke's name (a South African Masterchef finalist), Uzuri confirms its passport to be a top name in the food circuits of Delhi. Uzuri is spread over two levels. Level 2 offers an unparallelled intimate dinning experience that boasts of a unique décor with a seating capacity for 40 patrons. The Bar and Deck on Level 3 has an equally contemporary décor with great indoor and outdoor space offering a perfect place to enjoy the valentine evening with your love. What's even great is that they offer a great selection of drinks coupled with great food. The place is highly under-rated.

Sevilla, The Claridges, Aurangzeb Road

Picturesque ambience with glowing blow torches, hanging lanterns, meandering streams of water, White curtain clad cabana's, candle lit tables, slow romantic music humming in your ears, and the feeling of being one with nature sitting besides the love of your life just makes Sevilla a restaurant par excellence and a romantic place to die for. I would simply sum up Sevilla as a place which is more about the experience of Romance in the terrific setting than about the wine and the food. With music playing in the espaniol setting and with wine flowing you feel love flow in your veins as you would sit holding hands sipping wine with your amour (lover). Inspired by Mediterranean and Spanish cuisine influences, Sevilla has a menu which just blends perfectly with the soft, rustic romantic setting. Just the right place for the Valentines Day. Wild fire - Hotel Crown Plaza, Gurgaon

Located at the Lobby level at the Crowne plaza hotel, Gurgaon this restaurant offers foods influenced by cultures of Brazil, Portugal and some from New Zealand. The highlight of the restaurant is the churrascaria style of cooking. The restaurant is very classy and offers a cozy fine dining atmosphere, with glowing torches, dim light and some lip smacking non vegetarian food. There isn't much on offer for the vegetarians. What adds to the experience is the fact that food is carved at the table from the skewers by the Chefs which is a unique feature of this restaurant. There is no ordering or waiting, just sit & chill & relax and savor the moment while the chefs slice sizzling hot skewered meats directly onto your plate, & quantities are endless.

Olive Bistro, DLF Cyber Hub, Gurgaon

Imagine you were transported in time and space to Tuscany and you landed into a beautiful white Tuscan Villa and all you around you is bright white walls, beautiful white seating and loads of greens, plants and big and small flower pots, a stunning stony courtyard and beautiful chandeliers. This is what Olive bistro is. Perfect in imagination, even better in reality. So real that I want to pinch myself every time I come here. The food is so great and the outside seating is wonderfully romantic. Copy paste the link below in your browser and check my review and some yummy pictures of this restaurant and the food.

Cafe Out of the Box, Hauz Khas Village

I love the genre free bias on playing great music and serving some decent food with skimpy portions (you would have loved the portion size a year ago) and sadly only the 3rd and 4th floor have a great view of the Hauz khas lake and the fort. The bar menu ranges From Mojitos, Margaritas to LITs, and no wonder their cocktails are fast movers. The best part is that they have happy hours until 9pm. Even though the food is decent but the service could be a bit of a problem, but the view of the lake from the 4th floor makes up for everything.
