Dubrovnik is a beautiful place for beach lovers, people who love vineyards, Paljesac Island is the place to go...although the local wines are also really good. For water sports like Kayaking, board float this is the apt place in Croatia...The famous Game of Thrones has also been shot here...so now you can perhaps imagine the architecture and history this place has to offer...it is breathtaking to walk around...so even if you are burning in sun, or are going miles without food, the air and water alone will take care of your soul.

The 4 hour bus ticket with which you can travel on that route is just 15 kunas per person...which is really cheap...the population of this city is mere 40,000 only so be ready to see one of the most sparsely populated cities ever...

The city centre will offer most of the tourist sights like the Forts, the City walls, the Cathedral...

This is also the place to shop the best wines, olive oils, Adriatic pearls, the Crochet for which croatia is well known, Croatian local jewellery...

The City Centre also has a lovely Vegan restaurant - Nishta, which was our go to place for at least 2 meals every day of the 4 days we were there.

The Banje beach is the closest beach from the city centre. For a better experience, you can visit the Copacabana beach...15 minutes away from the city centre. Uber is quite affordable in this area so don't hesitate to get a cab at the end of a long day.

Zagreb is the place for Museums like the very eminent Museum of Broken relationships or the Museum of Optical Illusions. This is also the place to go clubbing.Trams are the best and the cheapest way to travel around...

In case of travelling to Plitvice National Parks, buses start from the main city bus station for full day tours and they charge you for the travel and the entry to the Plitvice National parks along with a guide.

The Tour costs including the Guide is about 550 Kunas, INR 5500 approx.

Warnings:

The visa from Croatian Embassy could be difficult. Therefore try entering n exiting from another Schengen region countries through a Schengen visa. Just ensure your itinerary is crisp n doesn't miss or tamper any details.

Do not fly Aeroflot. Their service has major issues. The flight is not great. Also, your luggage may or may not arrive. If it arrives, be assured the luggage will be damaged. If u put claims because they forgot your baggage at a connecting airport, you will not be compensated completely despite producing the bills. They will literally obliterate the experience you are going to have or just had.

Day 2

The second day, was in Split. Split is the second largest city in Croatia...and is surrounded by virgin islands and pristine beaches...which are as calm as Buddha through out the day...which would invite you to submerse yourself in them even if you are a no swimmer. We chose to stay in city centre so that we do not have to waste time in travelling to and fro from a far off place...the place is Diocletian palace...the central palace in Split, built by Romans close to 1500 years ago. The cobbled streets would not want you to go away but take your regular saunters...the culture, history, architecture, people, everything is here at the centre... People here are really warm and helpful and like to engage with tourists...The food is not so expensive...an average meal would cost about 400 rupees which includes a drink and a salad with a burger. But if you are a fine dine kind of person, expect the price to go up to double or perhaps, thrice this amount. But the food will not be disappointment if you are a little experimental...from italian to french food, you will also have local Croatian sea food and pies to try like the Kale pie or Brodet, the local stew made with sea food or mutton.

this was the day in the speed boat across the adriatic sea... Go empty stomach as amidst the sea, you could feel dizzy n sick due to rough waters.

This Island hopping tour cost 750 Kunas, INR 7500 approx. If you are not a swimmer, it is recommended to wear your safety jacket at all times as the sea can be rough in the middle.

For the rest of the city centre attractions, the ticket costs 55 kunas, approx. INR 550.

Day 4

The saunter to this beautiful beach is like a scene from a fairy tale, almost magical. I felt it was a place I had only dreamt of. The breeze from the sea as I approached this place to my breath almost away. I was slightly tipsy while traversing towards it, and despite a couple of blisters in my feet, I thoroughly enjoyed my gyrating gait. And if this isn't bliss for you, then a pair of rainbows were awaiting to greet me at the beach... The evening couldn't get better.

This beach is not the cleanest as per the local's standards, but if I compare it to the best Indian beach, I would say that Europe can really up your standards even if you have seen the best of your country. This beach is calm n still and at constant depth submersing you four feet below, with absolute silence n tranquility.
