Are you a mountain person or a beach person?

What if you can be both? I tried a trip where I drove from Bengaluru, crossed the highway laden with rainbearing clouds, and crossed over to Jog Falls in Shimoga and then later down the highway to Kumta-Murudeswara-Honnavara.

The pleasure of driving down the NH48, as the rain starts to fall on the car glass, is all too familar. The trip hasnt started unless you stop over for chai in the numerous breaks you take, along with pakode. The most exciting part is to listen to music and hum them on the go, as we keep alternating between playlists.

Jog Falls is a 5 hour drive away from Bangalore and Honnavara is 2 hours away from Jog Falls. You need to start early from Bangalore before 5 am, and reach there, spend a couple of hours, and then keeping 45 minutes for a lunch break, you should look at to be here
