So an year ago when i saw a picture of rainbow waterfalls posted by saiyami and i instantly fell in love with that picture. That was a moment when i decided to visit Meghalaya. The very moment I shared that picture with my only go to travel partner, usha. I told her Usha, I want to go to this Waterfall. "Hum November main meghalaya jayenge," was the only thing i said and usha agreed upon it without even thinking for a second.
Back then i didn't even know the name of this Waterfall, where this Waterfall actually is but i had to go there. Even on this trip, we spent 2 nights in nongriat village but, I didn't know that rainbow waterfalls is the one I was day dreaming about.
The day we started our trek to double decker and rainbow waterfalls I was egarly waiting for this Waterfall. I only knew that the waterfall is somewhere while we do this trek. At every waterfall I kept saying "no, this is not what i sent you usha."
Finally after trekking for more that an hour after watching double decker we reached rainbow waterfall. Till then we had witnessed number of waterfalls but not the one which I wanted to. But when I saw rainbow waterfalls i just screamed out of excitement and happiness that "Yahi toh hai woh Waterfall." This was the only sentence I could say because after that I lost myself in the beauty of this Waterfall.
