I always choose hills over beaches. It does not means that I don't like beaches, I do but whenever it comes to choose one of these, I go with hills.
I live in Pune, and the strech of Western ghat is heavenly. There are countless hill station, trekking points, small village in or near hills that a hill lover can never get bored.
Beaches are also good but most of them give same view whereas every hill is unique in its own way.
Here are my top 3 reasons to choose hills over beaches -
1. The Scenery - Nothing can beat the view of Sun setting down between the hills and nothing can be more relaxing than Sun rise in hilly area. The green beauty relax our sight and our mind. If you ever stayed overnight in hills, the morning will be refreshed like never before.
2. Humidity - Trust me, nothing can be more irritating then high humidity at beaches whereas hills are low humid which makes them more comfortable to sit and relax with loved one.
3. Trekking - What comes in your mind when you hear the word Adventure?? Probably first one is trekking. Trekking is a experience that you can never forget. everyone must go for trekking atleast once in a life.
Trekking in group can me more fun and memorable.
