I may not be a hardcore traveller. But before I plan a trip anywhere, the first thing I do is remember the "LORD"

I mean "LORD GOOGLE" :P

And then I find tonnes of suggestions from travel blogging websites and travel portals like tripadvisor.com or makemytrip.com, etc.

Which website do you think I'd open first? Travel portals or travel blogging sites?

Travel portals, of course.

But then, why am I telling you to follow travel bloggers for planning your next trip?

That's because I stick to travel portals for not more than 5 minutes (including website opening time).

So what do I do next? I open travel blogging sites. And stick around till the end of the blog.

You might think that I am bragging around. But believe me, practice this for once, and you'll come back thanking me.

So now comes the question; WHY TO ASK TRAVEL BLOGGERS TO PLAN YOUR NEXT TRIP?

I'll not lie. It's actually pretty simple;

Just 5 reasons. And you'll understand.

1. BUDGET-FRIENDLY OPTIONS:

High budget, low budget, or no budget, travel bloggers have experienced all budgets of travelling. So if you are in a mood to splurge on your trips, or give luxuries a miss, you will be guided perfectly by travel bloggers in their blogs.

2. GET NEW OFFBEAT SUGGESTIONS:

Imagine if you have to go to a place for the second time, you would want to see something different. Or maybe something that you never witnessed in your first visit. If you stumble upon a travel bloggers' suggestions of things-to-do, you'll feel the luckiest person alive.

Travel bloggers legit have a list of different sightseeing and tourist options.

3. BEING RESPONSIBLE TOURISTS:

Responsible travelling is the need of the hour. The whole idea and concept of traveling is changing overtime, thanks to this realization of being responsible and giving back what we experience. You definitely don't want to loiter around at a place and spoil its beauty for your own convenience.

Travel bloggers today are becoming responsible travellers and are trying their best to spread awareness about it in impacting positive ways.

4. GET RECOMMENDATIONS EVEN ON THE GO:

Travel bloggers are right there on social media and blogs. So if you have last-minute changes in plans, all you gotta do is contact a travel blogger.

If you have lost complete accessibility, then you always have locals to guide.

But if you have no clue how to talk to them, you can take some prior classes from travel bloggers.

5. TRIED-AND-TESTED RECOMMENDATIONS:

Travel bloggers write about their experiences only after experiencing the conveniences and difficulties of them. So if you are choosing something that might not be good for you, you'll be well alerted by a travel blogger.

Let me share something. I was in Delhi for 4 months on an internship and I wanted to explore the city. I knew Chandni Chowk is one of the busiest and most crowded and I was reluctant to go because of my pre-conceived notion that "Northies" are not good people. However, I was accompanied by my ex-colleague and a travel blogger, as he took me to all these places, and he ensured that I experience the most beautiful parts of the city.

Well that's all. Thanks to all the travel bloggers I randomly come across, I have had the best experiences of my life.

Special thanks to my travel bloggers-friends Jade Dsa and Kamal Sharma for always being by my side.

My blog is about "My Bucket List Goals" where I blog about everything I want to experience in life, fill in my bucket list and fulfill one by one.

You can follow me on my social channels; Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and check out my bucket list.

Through my blogs, I try to encourage everyone to have a bucket list in life, because I feel that it gives a person a boost to do something in life that he shall cherish for life and be happy about.

See you on the other side, very soon!
