This trip was planned keeping in mind the weather forecast for snowfall with my best ever companion- my husband.
We reached Chandigarh from Lucknow at 10 am by train. Do not prefer direct flights to Kullu in bad weather conditions as flights are frequently cancelled and that may spoil your entire trip. There was a cab already waiting for us and a driver who was going to be with us for next 3 days.
That was a tiring road trip which lasted for 8-9 hours. We stopped at Mandi Town for some tea road side sight seeing.
The River Beas reflects a beautiful scenic view all along your journey.
We reached our destination at 8pm approximately and checked in to our resort that near mall road(500m).
We fresh n up, relaxed our body, had our dinner, roamed around resort for a quick view and get back to our room, jumped into our cozy mattress as we were badly tired of our all day journey.
So here was the beautiful day waiting for us. We decided to visit Solang valley as the weather was pretty clear and Sun shine was visible in entire valley and on the mountains.
We got ready and enjoyed hearty breakfast at our resort. Packed up with our essentials and left for Solang valley with same cab. It was estimated some 15-20 mints drive from our resort. On the way to Solang valley we hired snow suite and bootes to cover ourselves. It costed for 250 for each of us. If anyone want they may also hire a guide along with some adventure packages. I must advice to bargain as they Start with high charges but can easily cut down the prices as per your ability to convince 😅.
It will take a total of 3-5k for all the adventures activities which is done on Solang skiing ground.
We left our cab before 1 k.m. approx to enjoy a short track on snowy path to skiing ground. I'm sort of words to describe that beautiful track. One can easily do this so this is must do and you will fall in love with this beautiful landscape.
We enjoyed paragliding, snowbike and skiing. We also spent few minutes sitting beside tea stall and enjoyed tea and Maggie with beautiful scenic view that ofcourse doubled its taste.
We came back to our resort at 5pm. After spending 2 hours there. It took a total 4-5 hours to complete this itinerary.
We relaxed at our room and then took an evening stroll at mall road. We were back to our resort at 7:30.pm Had our dinner at 8pm and thus get back to our bed for a beautiful and much needed sleep.
