Day 2

Yana Caves and Vibhooti falls: Set of plans for Day2 were already ready so we woke up early as we had to change our stay. After having breakfast we moved to Coconut tree resort. The stay was OK, food was good and staff was very courteous and helpful. We rented a bike for 500/- day and started for Yana Caves which was around 45-46 kms from our stay. It dint take more than 1- 1.2 hours to reach there. We parked our bike at the entrance and packed ourselves with food and fluids as on the trek towards you Yana won't get anything. We trekked around 2.5- 3 kms before we could see that spell bounding view of Yana Caves. That first sight of Yana took all my blues off, that nature drawing was so beautiful that i couldn't have missed it for anything. The trek was not at all tiring as we had fountains flowing alongside throughout the trek. Reached Yana in 1.5 hours and spent 30-35 minutes there, clicked few pictures and sat in the serenity. The cave was home to countless bats and thousand of bees. The scenary was worth climbing all those stairs and that 1.5 hour trek. We relaxed there and then decided to start our trek back. While returning we stepped down at a fountain, the water was so cool and relaxing that we ended up spending more than 30 minutes. Started heading back to where we parked our bike, finished that downhill trek in 50 minutes.
We also planned to visit Vibhooti falls but informed by locals that there is no water so we changed our mind and started for Gokarna, reached back to our stay in an hour. We were damn hungry as we did not get any place to have lunch.

At the end of the day we were a little Tanned but not tired.
