I remember since the day i started hiking in the UAE, this place was on my bucket list. This is one of the most famous hikers paradise.
The Trail starts from one point of jebel jais road through Wadi and a steep climb to the rock formation and continuing through rock mountain edges.
This is an intermediate level hike. There are lot of bouldering part involved. So hiking gears are must for this trial including gloves as there are lot of sharp rocks.
On reaching the Oasis, all the first timers visting this place said nothing than a WOW. Yes it is an absolute bliss to see greenery in the midst of rock mountains, especially in the UAE.
Best time to visit here is from january to March.
The best part of the hike was we couldnt find any trash on this place even though hikers visit this place on weekends. We managed to go further above the hill where uae Flag is located. On the way up, there is man made stairs taking us to the top. We experienced amazing views of this oasis from the flag point.
I would recommend any one with average fitness can do this trial.
Total distance covered - 8 Kms
Time taken - 7 hours with multiple breaks
Tips:
* Carry minimum 3 liters of water, protien bars etc.
* Full Hiking gear recommended.
* Evening hikes with camping will be a great experience.
