Day 1
Varanasi airport was as warm as my heart aching to find some spiritual truth like every traveller who reaches the destination. Being a travel photographer my aim was to hear stories of Naga sadhus and capture the emotions in their eye. I thought that the truth, the spiritual truth was something that i can achieve just by listening to their stories or just by meditating in ganga and bang I was wrong, from the beginning I was wrong. Found a hotel nearby the ghats and slept the day out and started in the evening a pleasant photowalk. It was fun to watch all the sadhus interested in a "paid photoshoot". They are pretty good models to be honest. I am lucky that my skills in candid photograhy was so good that my pocket was saved.
