Day 6: Beautiful sunny day was upon us. Flip-flops, bikini, sunglasses, sand, sunscreen and beer. That's how we spent whole day on the south beach. South beach is party kinda beach and north is the one for family. In north beach, you can barbecue and stuff and there are lesser people than south. We didn't even bother to go on north beach. I got a very nice tan.
Day 4: we took a bus for Miami which turned out to be a very bad decision. It took our whole day, better we should have rented a car. We reached Miami at about 7 pm. Our hotel 'Avalon' was on ocean drive, south beach. South beach is amazing for people watching; Home for All sorts of weirdos!!Restaurants here are really costly and they try to lure you with attractive deals like 50% off on food or 1 on 1 drinks. Do your research before entering any food or drink place. They have plenty of hukkah places too.
Before moving to Florida, I have heard lot about Miami.. Yes, its everyone's and my dream also to visit beautiful Miami beach.. Miami is just 40miles away from the place I live. So me n my husband have choosed to go for drive. First we went Biscayne bay. I loved that back water sea and its happening place.. Peoples are queued to go in boat tour to have fun.. We spent lot of time ther & then we had lunch n moved towards south beach. Wowww.. It was a nice n beautiful drive.. Ocean drive is btwn Miami Downtown n South Beach. Finally we reached south beach.. The most beautiful beach I have ever seen, water is completely clear and the sand is almost glittering.. OMG!! I really went crazy.. I played in water, sand, evening walk etc.. The day was beautiful, fun n enjoyed to the max :) finally returned home back with lot of memories & skin tan too.. Lol :) I love Miami :)
Oh Miami. First of all, let’s get one thing straight: There is Miami and there is Miami Beach. The two are different cities that tend to be lumped together, but they couldn’t be more different. One – Miami Beach – is on a barrier island where the famed South Beach is located. Miami – the larger – is on the mainland and home to Little Havana and Little Haiti. Together, they are one gigantic thriving metropolis focused on fun, fun, fun. People come here for the weather, the beaches, the parties, the nightlife. You come to Miami/Miami Beach to let the good times roll. Miami/Miami Beach is definitely a playground for grown ups, with exposed hot bods everywhere. Try to connect with a local to find the bargains or learn where the best places are to not overspend. Drinks here are outrageously expensive, if you don’t know where to look. Enjoy the sun! And bring your Spanish to this heavily Latin city. It helps.
