River Tern largest nesting colony of southasia, Chilika lake

A survey conducted in 2002 by The Bombay Natural History Society recorded the number of 540 habitats of birds of the river tern. At that time, this nesting colony of river tern species in Chilika Lake was the largest colony in Southeast Asia.
