The 'Friday Mosque' of Delhi - Jama Masjid

The Mosque was originally called Masjid - E- Jahan Numa, meaning 'mosque commanding the view of the world'. But, this marvel of architecture is most commonly known as Jama Masjid where 'Jama' means Friday, hence, the Friday Mosque.
