Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat in Rishikesh

During the aarti, the priests hold a huge lamp containing several oil-lit diyas and rotate their hands in circular motion, worshipping the River. This action is accompanied by bells, beating drums, and chanting of bhajans.
