Picturesque Leh-Ladakh

In Leh District, at 11,473 ft, there is a village named Stok at 17 kms southeast of the Leh town. With the 14th century Monastery and the residential palace of the former Royal family of Ladakh, it has this 71 ft tall gold-plated Buddha statue.
