Landed in Bangkok in the early hours of Day1 and after a soundly sleep followed by a heavy breakfast at our hotel we took a tuk tuk to explore the nearby attractions. We had an evening engagement ,so we leisurely explored in and around Lumphini.
Be careful when your bargaining with the tuk tuk drivers, they are no less swindlers than our 'desi' auto and taxi walas. But once your happy with the rates be ready to enjoy the tuk tuk ride through the busy bustling roads of Bangkok.
Bangkok Travel Blogs

"Although the Grand Palace is a must-see, it is also a one time only type of site. There are several Wats that should be visited during your trip in Bangkok. I HIGHLY recommend visiting Wat Arun around sunset. As well as stops at Wat Pho, Wat Ratchanatdaram, and The Golden Mount (Wat Saket)." – Pamela Macnaughtan

"If Bangkok were a person, the safest term to describe its personality would be ‘eccentric’, perhaps even downright insane. One night in Bangkok can indeed make a hard man humble and the tough guys tumble. It, after all, is a roller coaster of a city, bringing you down at one point and then introducing you the highest of highs. Thailand’s capital is energetic and passive, bright and dingy, welcoming and cold, all at the same time. I consider myself fortunate enough to have seen the multiple facets of Bangkok on seven different occasions." – Sumedha Bharpilania
