Indian skipper Virat Kohli decided to celebrate his birthday today by taking a few days off from the ongoing India-Bangladesh cricket series. Using this opportunity, Virat and his wife, actress Anushka Sharma, took to the mountains in Bhutan. Anushka Sharma recently posted a heart-warming story on her Instagram account that unfolded in the quaint valleys of the scenic country.
The couple is known to make time from their busy schedules to travel together and this time, they were off trekking. Instagram pictures on Anushka’s account shed light on the following story, which took place while the two were taking an 8.5 km trek.
A day before Kohli’s birthday, the couple was in the middle of a trek when they reached a village up in the mountains. They came across an adorable baby calf and began to pet the animal. The owners saw this and decided to welcome the couple in and offered tea. The surprise for the duo was that these people had no idea about their stardom and were simply being kind.
Anushka emphasised on how much this gesture mattered to both of them and thanked the family for their hospitality. Anushka later posted some pictures she took with the family along with a shot where she's seen feeding the four-month-old calf.
