No, it is not. The path, though treacherous is clear and well laid. Only after Bhojawasa you need a guide for the Tapovan. But, you can easily mingle with any other groups already present there.

Hey dhanush, Great choice but your budget seems not enough for 2 people. You can go by either ship from Cochin or Flight. Flights from Cochin costs 5.5k (Single way) and ships costs around Rs.3k. You can go snorkelling at bangara dive centre,go fishing, enjoy the blue lagoons at agatti island, Yacht travel etc. Happy travelling...
It happens in the august month, but landing up there directly and planning your own thing will be much better than going through a package.
Even I am giving it a thought, will let you know if I make my plans.
Hope this helps, Happy travelling :)
You dont really need a package just for Tomatina festival.Either get an itinery for your complete Spain tour and ask your tour operator to include this.
Alternatively you can plan this on your own and go through websites like viator.com,grayline.com,isango to look for a daytrip that includes this.
Visa letter can be obtained in following ways:-
1)Contact the Hotel you have shortlisted and are planning to book. They would ask for your credit card details to give you the letter in case and would keep some amount on hold (in case you dont turn up at that hotel). If you actually do turn up,it basically becomes free.
2)Contact the sightseeing tour company if you have booked any sightseeing tours or day trips.
3)Search on google. There are several websites that charge a fee of 20 or 30 USD and provide the invitation letter. I would suggest to go with option no.1 and thats exactly what i did.One thing to keep in mind is if you are travelling multiple cities in russia, you need invite letter for all the cities (so again request the hotel or sightseeing companies).Let me know if you have further queries. You can go thru my travel story if you need further information on Russia tour.
