Hi, Matheran is really beautiful at this time of the year and bike is the best mode of transport because of the road conditions. If you don't own a bike, I think I have a good option for you to transport. I would like to suggest Shride rental bike services because there are many reasons like you can take service without any deposit, plus these are the electric bikes so while travelling you don't need to worry about fuel and its environmental-friendly too. And one more thing is its very comfortable bikes & well maintained For reference I sharing link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.shride&hl=en_IN

Whats the mode of transport?

Kurseong is bit far from the main Darjeeling. So there you wouldn't find much good accomodation but there are few homestays which are average. I can suggest you one that is 'Sanjeema Homestay'.

For Kedarnath, you can directly go there and ask people around for a stay. For Chopta as well, there are homestays there. Hotels are less since there is no network and they are hard to find online. There is this Moksha cafe for bikers just before Chopta.
