Buy a backpack, stuff in your belongings select a place and get on a bus ! It is this simple. You needn't even plan anything if you are visiting the mainstream tourist places. Get acquainted with few tips and tricks of travelling and start making your own bucket list of "off beat places" and head on ! Happy Exploring !!

Travel if you love to travel.. just don't travel because everyone is travelling.. Start with nearby places and then slowly plan for big trips..

It depends alot on your preference, if a good weekend resort is what you like -The Gateway Resort near Damdama lake would be nice. A hill station is what you want, you can check out Landsdowne( not too cold), Shimla(snow and ol). Or try Jim Corbett/Ranthambore for Safari.

Near Delhi you have many places. Since this is to be a weekend getaway and keeping in mind budget and also travel time i would suggest visitng "Nuh" which is near haryana / rajasthan border and on way back, go to Neemrana fort and come back to delhi. Drive is fun (except for Delhi traffic) You can avoid all traffic, while coming back take the new highway (bypass) to get into Delhi from Faridabad in evening.

Would like to know from where? If from Mumbai or any big city you can book a train. stay in hostel. costs about 250-600 per person for bunk beds in shared dorm. Rent a bike for 300-400 Rs per day for exploring local places. happy travelling.

Hey Megha, June is a wet season in Andaman and there will be high tidal waves and winds ... Better to avoid in June and plan sometime between November and May ... Happy Travelling!!!

I would not recommend ranthambhore as it would be high on temperature in last april. same goes for Jaipur too. u can go for agra.

Hire a car or if you're looking for a cheaper option then state buses from kashmere gate is the way to go. you can try redbus app as well.

Hi Rahul, We hired a car to take us from Chandigarh to Shimla and from Shimla via Kullu to Manali and finally dropped us back to Chandigarh
