Places to visit near Coorg: Abbey Falls Dubare Forest Bhagamandala Thalacauvery Mandalpatti Raja's Seat Golden Temple Nisargadama Then you can travel to Ooty...You got to travel to Ooty via Mysore from Coorg....I don't think there are direct buses between Coorg and Ooty... Places to visit near Ooty and Coonoor: Sim's Park Pykara Dam Pykara Waterfalls Pykara Lake Karnataka Garden Botanical Garden Thread Garden Dolphins Nose Pine Forest Ooty Lake Lamb's Rock Tea Garden Doddabetta Peak

Stay in coorg instead of ooty. Opt for homestay or airbnb..will be cheaper. Go with a professional driver as roads are risky.or book a train in advance and reach there and travel on local conveyance. Carry some warm clothes or full clothes. Go shopping in local markets and get tea for friends and family..you get organic and fresh

For more credits write your own trip blog with pictures taken by you. Photoblog, posting videos & answering questions like this will warm some credits.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
By writing blogs n sharing some experience or u can also get it by responding to the questions
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Depending upon the package.. Well, some asks you to pay half amount or some % of amount while some may allow you to pay whole package with credits. So you need to go through the package details carefully.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Most of the packages give only discount and then also on twin sharing basis means you have to pay complete fee of the person along with you..So you can see like its worthy or not
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
I will suggest to hire a cab and go on your own. You can choose the option of homestays instead of Hotels. You will surely have a local experience.
