Great, Parvathi Valley, you can stay in Kasol , there are many guest houses available for reasonable price like buddha point, checkout in Malana there is a guest house where you could stay for couple of days!!
It's always better to have a guide on treks as they can guide you on the nitty gritty of the place and many times you might need to bargain with them. Best will be to ask around for the market price of a guide.
Hi Manasa, there is a page on Tripoto where travel agents from the country put up the best deals they have to offer. Why don't you pick a Hong Kong package from there? Here's the link- https://www.tripoto.com/tour-packages

Have a great journey ?
It doesn't rain too much in August, so I think it's safe to go on those dates. Just to be careful, why dont you keep a tab on the weather conditions in Manali on 9th and 10th.
Please do not worry about the drive, Roads are wide and good.Rain would not be problem for you , I am sure you would love the drive from Kulu to Manali.
You cant really 'conquer' Mt.Everest, but you can definitely summit it. It is advisable that you should have completed your advance mountaineering course to have an easy pitch at it. It is extremely difficult for those with no prior experience. mountaineers usually start training a year or so before their expedition date.
The roads on the way to Manali can be treacherous during monsoon. Have some buffer in place, the traffic near Manali is known to be notorious to run 2-3 hours long.

Hi Sajid! Panjim is about 54 kilometers away on the State Highway 4 from Chorla Ghats. You can hire a taxi to reach the ghats, visit them and come back in the same vehicle. Also, there are not too many places as such to see around but you can stop over at the many waterfalls in the Ghats. A lot of people stop for some bird watching as well.
If you ever visit Chorla, try to get into the village, by the end of village you'll get a temple, the road beside leads you to a beautiful waterfall on the other side of the hill. and the important one is, do not miss Sural falls, its very near to chorla, thank me later. cheers!
October is a great month to travel practically anywhere in India. Snow does not begin to fall in the mountains but the winter winds set in leaving a lovely chilly but not freezing weather. Hotter regions of the country such as Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan cool down and the party-goers have not yet ravaged the beaches. If you can tell me which city you are based in, I will be to give you a more practical suggestion. But my personal pick would be the Niagara Falls of India, Chitrakoot Falls in Chattisgarh.
