America welcomed its first cannabis restaurant in West Hollywood and diners can expect a wide range of weed products on the menu. The 240-seat cafe has been named Lowell Farms: A Cannabis Cafe and can be visited by people 21 and over.

As per the rules, while diners can order marijuana at the table, the establishments can’t infuse food with weed. The cafe has "Flower Hosts," or "budtenders," who help guests navigate the menu and give them advice on what strain of cannabis to order with their meal. They also help understand the potency and flavor of each product

Besides pre-rolled joints starting at $18 dollars a piece, highly potent concentrates, some edibles, and accessories such as bongs, pipes and dabbing devices are also available on offer. Executive chef Andrea Drummer told international media that he never thought he would get to be a part of making history and termed the expereince as 'amazing'.

The cafe has already gained so much popularity that customers were flying in from different parts of the country to witness the grand opening. The launch of this one-of-its-kind cafe in America comes as more and more states across America have legalized marijuana in recent years. However, at the federal level, the drug remains illegal.

With big names such as Sarah Silverman, Miley Cyrus, and Chris Rock as its investors, the cafe had received the city’s consumption lounge business license two years back.

If reports are to be believed, West Hollywood will soon welcome seven other eateries similar to "Lowell Farms”.
