Trip to Neemrana Fort Palace
We started our journey at 11am from Jaipur, as we wanted to spend one night at Neemrana Fort Palace and heard a lot about the property. We booked the hotel prior through the hotel representative as he was giving a good deal.
The drive was good and we reached the destination in 2 hours 30 minutes. The hotel is situated on the foothills of Aravalli, we were welcomed with the complimentary drink and after a smooth check-in, we were directed towards our room. The hotel reception was on the base level; we had to walk and climb the stairs a little bit to reach our room. I have never experienced any hotel property like this. Walking on the property is like walking in a fort with so many turns and stairs. On our way to the room, we saw their open pool, which was electrifying. And thought to spend the evening here.
We reached our room which was like a royal room, the name of our room was Gomedak Mahal; we had a great view of the lawn and some part of the front view. We relaxed for some time and went to Raj Mahal bar for our evening high tea. It was again a good walk with climbing up and down on the premises.
The Raj Mahal Bar is a dining area and the view from there is delightful. One can have a wide view of the city and highway far away. After our tea, we strolled around the property, which was like a maze. We saw Uncha Bagh and Mukut Bagh, which was an open dining area. From there we saw a small well at the back of the Hotel and a small pond. Went to Holi kund and the pool area. We stayed at the pool area and enjoyed the sunset and the calm evening as we decided.
Went to the room and got ready for the dinner which was at the Jalgiri Mahal, a beautiful restaurant with, a good sitting arrangement and a nice ambiance. It was a buffet system. After enjoying a couple of wine glasses, we had our dinner and sauntered around the property. The food was delicious.
Our room at night took us back in history, couldn’t get any better atmosphere than this.
Wake up, take a shower, and head towards Raj Mahal Bar for Breakfast. I must say the one-night stay at the hotel was a one-of-a-kind experience because of its view, the architecture, and the infrastructure of the property. Royal gates and corridors. Gardens and pools. Rooms and restaurants, everything is a perfect example of a Royal Palace.
