Sim`s Park

This is a century old park which was built and opened in the year 1874 by Mr. Sim and Mr. Murray. This is also a botanical garden with a number of rare and exotic species of flowering trees. There is a tree inside this park which is said to be more than 200 years old and a special mention in this field. Also, there is a rose garden and a number of terraces with a variety of flower plantations on them. Apart from the flowers and ornamental plants, what is famous here are the abundance of the evergreen Shola Trees. This park forms a part of the Nilgiri Hills.
