Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary

This is a premier attraction of Dandeli and is loacted in the Uttara Kannada Region of Karnataka. This is a project which was started together with the Anshi Wildlife Reserve. Because there is an abundance of flora and fauns, this has become heaven for nature and wildlife lovers. This place was once known for wild animals roaming around and then the forest department took the decesion of naming and framing it one of the known wildlife sanctuaries of the country. Wild animals such as gaur, sambhar, leopards, panthers, tigers and lions and very much found over here. This is an open area where animals can live freely and not worry about being hunted. Tourists find immense pleasure in enjoying the wildlife tours under the guidance of experts.
