This is a beautiful waterfall in the Newada District of Bihar and lies on the Bihar- Jharkhand border. According to legendary tales, once there lived a king here who was cursed by a rishi due to which he had turned into a snake. He regained his original form when the Pandavas came to live here in exile and then prayed never to be born again. his prayers were addressed in this same Kakolat area. Below the waterfalls are a cover of lush greenery on the hill surrounded valley. This place is best to be visited after monsoon and then right after the strong winters are gone. The immense natural beauty of this place makes it a huge favourite of nature lovers. You can also do bird watching here especially during the colder season when migratory birds come here.
