Badavilinga TempleRight next to the Lakshmi Narasimha temple lies another temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. And there lies a huge Shivalingam surrounded by a puddle of water. It is a huge monolithic structure, and is said to have been the worshiping place for the poor who couldn't enter the main temples.

In the local language Badva means poor and Linga represents Shiva. Legend has it that the Shiva Linga placed inside the temple was commissioned by a poverty-stricken peasant woman. Hence the temple came to be known as Badavilinga Temple.
