Tadadi Port

Also known as the Land of Palm Trees, this is a port in the Uttara Kannada District. The place is very close to Gokarna and you can visit both the places at once. The main occupations here are fishing and agriculture and this place has produced many great men who have variously contributed to the goodwill of the country. The Aghanashini is the only free- flowing river of this area and it empties itself in the western ghats along this region.
