Tropic of Cancer

One of the 5 most important latitudinal measurements of the earth, the Tropic of Cancer is an imaginary line which is 23and a Half degree north. It is the line below the North Pole and above the Equator. The other line on the southern side is the Tropic of Capricorn which lies below the Equator and above the South Pole. Once a year the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn each has the sun just above its head due to the tilt of Earth. In case of the Tropic of Cancer, this mostly happens during November when the hemisphere is tilted on the sun. The term 'cancer' is used here as the earth tilts in such a way that it enters the astrological symbol of cancer. Though the position of this line changes with a negligible measure every year, in India the Tropic of Cancer passes along Madhya Pradesh and also parts of other places.
