Waghjai Mata Mandir

Waghjai Mata Mandir, is a Hindu temple specialized in the goddesses Bhawani and Waghjai. It is situated in village Terav, Taluka Chiplun, Dist. Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. The initial temple was created circa 1860. Government of Maharashtra has stated this temple as among the tourist places in Maharashtra. That temple is 123 ft in total with a width of 76 ft on south side and 36 ft on north side. Height of base is 4 ft with internal level of 22 ft. temple houses goddesses Bhawani, Waghjai, Kalkai and Navdurga along side Lord Shiv Shankar.
