Weekend Getaways from Margao
My first challenge the moment I got out of the train station was to find this tree house. It's called Saraya and since it's way out of the popular zones of Goa, no one knew where it was. We got into a taxi who offered to help us find the place. When we got to Sangolda and onto Chogm Road, we circled around the location provided by Google for Saraya at least half a dozen times. It was 8 in the morning and the phones at Saraya were ringing continuously with no one in sight. It was at this point that my friend - who was lazily looking out of the window - said, "heeey, what's that weird calligraphy writing?"After a hard long look, we read it out loud: SARAYA. Annoyed by the fact that we had passed the place the entire time and somewhat relieved that we had finally found it, we got our bags out, paid the cab, and walked to the front gate. Saraya has a cafe out at the entrance followed by a bridge that leads to an art gallery of sorts, and then a kitchen, and that's it. One has to walk outside the main building and past the garden area hidden away from view to get to the huts, and this was a beautiful walk!

Madgaon Railway Station
I reached #Madgoan railway station around 6:30 am, I planned to stay in south Goa as I was looking for peace Goa instead of party Goa. prepaid taxi was very costly so I was just looking around then came to know one more way of transport is pilot bikes and very safe, I ride on a bike and its charges me 150 rs for 7-10 km. of distance. you can also visit #Betalbatim beach first as it nearby #Madgoan railway station in the morning, spent 2-3 hours of awesomeness there, without booking any hotel and then move to north Goa or anywhere you want to stay or do whatever damn you are on vacation. The best part about the pilot ride was you can see morning Goa. floating lotus in ponds, paddy fields, narrow streets, green sceneries, sky view and cool breeze touching your cheeks and blowing your hairs. it energized me more and made me firm about my decision as a #soloGoa.I went to Betalbatim area which is 10 km from Madgoan railway station and 4-5 km from bus stand.I just throw my bag in a hotel and was dying to run on a beach, I get up in full Goan stuff with glasses, bandana etc. all swag.
The Seminary once housed the famous Museum of Christian Art, containing church artifacts collected from all over Goa. The green way that leads to the seminary is beautiful beyond explanation. Every corridor of the Rachol Seminary is furnished with paintings which speak volumes about the rich history.
